Sen. Ted Cruz and Rep. Beto O'Rourke are making their final arguments to voters across the Great State in the home stretch of the U.S. Senate campaign.
Richard Linklater, the renowned Austin filmmaker, has now directed TV ads for an anti-Cruz PAC in which the argument is that Cruz is weak instead of "Tough as Texas" -- his campaign slogan. "Come on, Ted," the ad concludes. The polls, though, show Cruz is solidifying his lead over the Democratic challenger by at least 9 points.
Meantime, a prominent Texas Republican says he'll be voting for the Democrat running against Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick.
