exas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Friday announced his office is suing the City of San Antonio over alleged violations of the state's ban on so-called "sanctuary cities." The move comes ahead of the next legislative session when lawmakers are expected to again debate whether to end in-state tuition for undocumented students.
Meantime, lawmakers are trying to figure out how to rein in rising property taxes and Rep. Beto O'Rourke is singing a different tune about whether he could potentially be a candidate for president in 2020.
