This week's hodgepodge of Texas political news includes Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's legal troubles and his fight with the Fort Worth School District over sex ed curriculum. There are also special elections playing out across the state to replace "disgraced" politicians, namely former Sen. Carlos Uresti and former Rep. Blake Farenthold. Meantime, there's a push now to convince rural Texans that they should support medical marijuana.
Mike Ward is on assignment this week, so Quorum Report Editor Scott Braddock and Ryan Poppe of Texas Public Radio take you through the week's headlines.
